The day ended with Phys Ed but before that, the class was busy exploring life in an East Coast town - Meteghan, Nova Scotia! So far, we have learned about whales, schools, and the Bay of Fundy. In the morning, the class worked on fact families and figuring out the 4 associated number sentences. For example, 6 + 12 = 18, 12 + 6 = 18, 18 - 6 = 12, 18 - 12 = 6.
Field trip forms are going home tonight. Half of the class will be going on March 5th and the other half will go on March 12. There is an extra letter that went home which will have more information and tell you who is going on what day. Blue forms are due back asap. We can only take one parent volunteer each day so, if your parent has a security clearance and wants to come, ask them to let me know right away. We may have to just put names in a hat and draw from them. The cost is 12.00. Have a great evening and enjoy the fresh air!
